About Me

I grew up in Dartford, Kent, in the UK, before moving to Africa, where I met my husband on a trip to the stunning Drakensberg Mountains.

We spent thirteen memorable years in Chingola, Zambia, and five years running our little guest house in the Cape Winelands, before settling in the Garden Route in South Africa. We live in the beautiful town of George, nestled between the Outeniqua Mountains and the Indian Ocean.

We have been the proud parents of many beloved children of the four-legged variety over the years, these being currently two very special cats.

My favourite time of day is a warm, summer's evening, with an ice cold gin and tonic on my desk, as I write my next book.
